Core Accountability:
Owns the strategy, performance, and profitability of Sirdab’s transportation operations, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, network reliability, and customer satisfaction across B2B and B2C shipments.
Objectives
- Achieve consistent on-time delivery and high SLA adherence
- Optimize cost per trip and maximize vehicle/carrier utilization
- Expand and manage a reliable carrier network across regions and temperature zones
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, documentation, and safety standards
- Drive TMS automation and process improvements for scalability
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily trip execution, routing, and dispatch operations
- Track transport KPIs (on-time %, cost per trip, delivery accuracy, utilization)
- Manage and expand the carrier base: sourcing, onboarding, and contract negotiation
- Supervise Transportation Coordinators and ensure operational readiness
- Align closely with Warehousing for inbound/outbound coordination
- Monitor route efficiency and recommend optimization (zone clustering, backhauls)
- Validate carrier invoices and reconcile trips with Finance
- Collaborate with Tech/Product on TMS enhancements and automation projects
